LeBron James Jr. Assists His Way to a Championship Medal

After dropping the opening round of the NBA Finals to league MVP Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors, LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers are trailing in the series one-nil. Meanwhile, the King’s son–LeBron “Bronny” James Jr.–has already led his Gulf Coast Blue Chips team to the fourth grade championship at THE LEAGUE Dallas/Hype Sports Summer Jam.

The most impressive thing about Prince James’ performance is that he’s not just dropping buckets (although there was plenty of that), but threading needles and throwing dimes with John Stockton-like precision. Not only that, but Bronny’s crossover would probably put yours truly, a thirty-ish rec-league champion into a pants-on-the-ground moment.

It’s no wonder the ten-year-old already has colleges looking to lock up a commitment to play for their programs. Talk about shady recruiting tactics, but when a kid can sling the ball around the hardwood like little LeBron, can you blame coaches for getting a bit ahead of themselves?
