Lorde Announces New 2014 U.S. Tour Dates | Lorde Tour Dates & News

June 4, 2014 by

New Zealand singer Lorde just announced plans to return to North America this fall for another round of touring, in support of her smash debut LP Pure Heroine. Following a quick trip in August for appearances at Lollapalooza (one of this year’s best music festivals) and Canadian festival Osheaga, she’ll embark on a more extensive outing beginning in September. The jaunt stretches 20 dates, including three shows in New York City and a slot at Boston Calling before wrapping up on October 12th at Austin City Limits. Majical Cloudz will serve as support for Lorde’s American leg.

Considering her first single, “Royals,” is now quadruple platinum and the fact that she won “Song of the Year” and “Best Pop Solo Performance” awards at the 2014 Grammy Awards, I’d say we can expect this tour to sell out with very  quickly. Check out her new tour dates below.

Since the beginning of 2014, Lorde has performed at music festivals such as Coachella, and also joined Joan Jett, St Vincent and Kim Gordon in fronting Nirvana as part of the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame induction ceremony. Lorde recently announced a second show in London this June after the first date sold out in less than 24 hours, so it’s possible the same may occur in the states. Keep an eye out for our updates on Lorde’s 2014 U.S. tour.
