Thanksgiving in Iceland: Of Monsters and Men take over Terminal 5

If you are like me and you dread making small talk with your relatives over lukewarm turkey, fear not. The Tuesday and Wednesday before turkey day, you can de-stress by seeing Of Monsters and Men play at Terminal 5.

For those of you not in the know, Of Monsters and Men are a six-piece band from Iceland. They only formed in 2010 and already have a worldwide record and distribution deal with Universal. Their sound would probably best be described as indie folk/pop. If Mumford & Sons and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros could have a baby together, they would produce Of Monsters and Men. The Icelandic band are most known for their single, “Little Talks,” as seen below:

The two shows on November 20 and 21 begin at 8:00pm, with doors opening at 7:00pm. Tickets are sold out, of course, but you can buy or bid on tickets with TickPick here.
