The Best Seats for Toronto Blue Jays Games

The best Toronto Blue Jays game seats are in the HSBC Club suites, located above home plate. That said, the area surrounding the infield and baselines in sections 113 B- 130C offers fantastic views of the action. If you want to catch a home run, your best bets are in sections 105-108 or 135-138.

The best-value tickets are typically located in the 500-level section behind home plate. They are often cheaper than other listings but still provide a nice view of the field.

Rogers Centre Seat Numbers

The Rogers Centre seating chart with seat numbers shows that seat 1 is always closer to the lower-numbered adjacent section. For example, seat 1 in section 129 would be closest to the highest numbered seat in section 128.

Toronto Blue Jays Premium Seating

The Rogers Centre offers premium seating options for Toronto Blue Jays games. You will find the HSBC Club VIP Suites on the 200 level behind home plate. These seats feature a gourmet buffet, in-seat service, access to a private lounge, and private washroom facilities.

The .400 Summit Suite is the most exclusive seating area for Blue Jays games. It offers nine wide-screen televisions, Wi-Fi, and multiple setups that can accommodate up to 300 people.

Toronto Blue Jays Dugout and Bullpen Location

The Toronto Blue Jays’ dugout is in front of sections 124-126, and the visitors’ dugout is in front of sections 117-119. The Toronto Blue Jays Bullpen is in front of sections 135-137, and the visitors’ bullpen is in front of sections 106-108.

Toronto Blue Jays Retractable Roof

The Rogers Centre is one of the few MLB stadiums with a retractable roof. If the game begins with the roof open, it may close during the game if weather conditions warrant.

If the game starts with the roof closed, it may be opened before the 6th inning if the Umpire Crew Chief and Blue Jay officials agree that the weather is acceptable. The Blue Jays aim to keep the roof at the Rogers Centre open as much as possible, without diminishing the fan experience.

Rogers Centre Sun and Shade Guide

Rogers Centre is a fully domed stadium with a retractable roof, which is kept closed for most games due to Toronto’s variable weather. When the roof is closed, all seating areas are equally shaded and climate-controlled, making the sun a non-factor for most Blue Jays home games.

When the roof is open, Rogers Centre faces roughly north. Under open conditions, the right field seats and lower level sections on the first base side receive more direct sunlight in the afternoon, while the third base side and left field sections benefit from shade from the upper structure. The 100-level seats directly behind home plate are also partially shaded by the press box and club level above, even with the roof open.

Open-roof games at Rogers Centre are a distinctive experience, given the stadium’s urban setting in downtown Toronto. The retractable roof opens fully to reveal the CN Tower overhead on clear days, and the sun’s behavior in those conditions is less of a concern than wind and ambient light management.

Best shaded seats when the roof is open: Lower-level sections 111-125 on the third-base side. The 200-level seats on the third-base side, under the upper deck structure, also provide early shade.

Bottom line: Whether the roof is open or closed, Rogers Centre delivers a consistent indoor-outdoor stadium experience. Check the roof status for your game, but even when open, sun exposure is not as extreme as at fully open outdoor parks.

Toronto Blue Jays Child Admission Policy

Parents may bring children under two into Rogers Centre for a Blue Jays game without a ticket. Of course, as long as they sit on a lap and do not take up an additional seat. Children who have difficulty seeing can obtain a booster seat from Guest Services on a first-come, first-served basis.

ADA Seating at Rogers Centre

For those using a wheelchair and/or those looking to attend a game at the Rogers Centre with someone who uses a wheelchair, read below. If you’re seeking ADA seating, there are accessible rows at the top of most sections throughout the ballpark.

If necessary, folding chairs are provided for guests, such as those who need to sit with a fan while using a wheelchair. One trick you can use to filter tickets by handicapped or ADA accessibility is the “Additional filters +” button on the event page. It allows you to select “ADA (wheelchair accessible)” to view all seats the seller has marked as accessible.
